upon issues in which we have gained practical experience and insight,

Web Design
We have taken a standards-based approach to the construction of this site and have chosen to adopt HTML5 and CSS.
Characteristic behaviour of CSS, known as fluid layout, may be seen by expanding the window size in the browser whilst browsing the site, to observe the flow of text changing to fit the area available. Equally, text size enlargement may be achieved using browser text-size settings, to increase the legibility of the text. Significant accessibility advantages may be gained.
Active Server Pages containing VBScript and
client-side JScript have been included to provide two
simple transactional features in the Support Section.
Since the site was first constructed (2009) the standards supports of browsers
has improved markedly. Few changes have been needed as a result of
adopting a standards-based design.
